Heather Mill’s (unofficial but pretty much confirmed) decision to take a one off payment of £25 million and a couple of houses has been viewed with surprise in Britian.  The press were geared up for a monumental court room battle in what looked to be one of the most acrimonious splits of  this century.  So why did Heather back down? Popbitch’s sources have heard that Heather might have done herself out of hitting the gold digger’s jackpot.  The rumour is that camera phone evidence of Heather taking the piss out of Macca’s daughter Stella and 1st wife Linda in a far from indiscreet manner had Heather’s lawyers ‘rushing to sort out an immediate settlement’.  Even the houses will be in daughter Beatrice’s name, not Heathers…

Heather Mills McCartney is denying that soon to be ex husband Paul has offered her a settlement worth $62 million as was reported this weekend in the Sunday’s News of the World.

Paul once famously sang that “Money can’t buy me love” but it would appear that he plainly thinks it can buy him his own child. Well, when the seller of that child happens to be Heather Mills, I suppose anything is possible.
