NELL MCANDREW LAUNCHES 12TH ULTIMO ‘SHOP IN SHOP’ IN SHEFFIELD

Nell unveils a dramatic new look at the launch of Ultimo’s new store!

Ultimo, the UK’s leading lingerie brand, today (Wednesday 8th October) unveiled its 12th ‘shop in shop’ boutique in Sheffield’s Debenhams department store. The new store, the very first for Yorkshire, was launched by a new-look brunette Nell McAndrew and Ultimo creator and Bra Queen Michelle Mone.

Despite the current challenges of the retail climate, Ultimo is going from strength-to-strength; fresh from a glittering debut at New York Fashion Week, the lingerie giants will unveil nine new ‘shop in shops’ within Debenhams across the UK, throughout October and November.

Ultimo’s Sheffield store opening coincides with the launch of Debenhams national bra fit week, which takes place from 10 – 17 October and aims to encourage women to come in-store to be fitted and measured properly for bras.

Michelle Mone, creator of Ultimo, said:

Having successfully launched 11 Ultimo ‘shop in shops’ within the UK so far this year, the new Sheffield store, located on the upper ground level of Debenhams, will be a welcome addition to the city’s retail offering and to Debenhams’s lingerie department.

Celebrity captains, including fitness enthusiast Nell McAndrew; adventurer Ben Fogle; Commonwealth and Olympic medalist Liz McColgan; and Scottish rugby legend Gavin Hastings, joined around 800 competitors from across the country for this year’s ‘First Monster Challenge’ – a 120km team relay duathlon (that’s running and cycling) around the shores of Loch Ness, raising money for the charity Save the Children.

Each competitor completed one running leg of 10km and one cycle leg of 20km around the famous Loch. FirstGroup also insured the race for £1million in the event of a Loch Ness Monster sighting or attack.

The event also acted as a human trial in pioneering research against biting midge insects. In the summer months the pests can attack people at the rate of 4,000 bites per hour leaving people with uncomfortable red itchy bites. Midges are estimated to cost the Scottish tourism industry around £268million per year
