The 18th Annual Glaad Media Awards took place at the Kodak Theatre in LA last night and the stars were out in force.  Little Miss Sunshine took outstanding film,Ugly Betty won for outstianding television comedy and Brothers&Sisers took outstanding drama series award. 

Jennifer Aniston picked up the prestigous Vanguard Award for her efforts to increase visibility and understanding of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

As everyone know everyone’s favourite friends, Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox-Arquette are BFF’s on and off screen. However according to Michael Ausiello of TVGuide the two are about to get even closer. Jennifer is going to guest star on the finale episode of Courtney’s new show on FX, Dirt as a lesbian magazine editor:

“Aniston’s character is a lesbian. What’s more, she won’t just mouth off to Cox’s tightly wound counterpart; she’s going to share a lip lock with her.”

Reps for both have yet to comment.

In the latest issue of Vogue, Angelina Jolie has spoken for the 1^st time about how the relationship between her and Brad Pitt developed. The two met on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith in 2003. However Jolie dismisses claims that their relationship began at that time. Angelina states that at the time,

“It was clear he [Brad] was with his best friend, someone he loves and respects…I think we were the last two people who were looking for a relationship. I certainly wasn’t. I was quite content to be a single mom”.

She goes on to say how their friendship blossomed during filming,

“I think a few months in I realized, ‘God, I can’t wait to get to work.’…Anything we had to do with each other, we just found a lot of joy in it together and a lot of real teamwork. We just became kind of a pair.”

She goes on to say how their friendship blossomed during filming,She claims that the beautiful twosome remained just, “very, very good friends” until after Brad and ex-wife Jennifer Aniston announced their separation in January 2005,

“And then life developed in a way where we could be together, where it felt like something we would do, we should do”.

In fact Angelina credits her eldest son Maddox with helping them reach their final decision to be together, saying that one day Maddox,

“just out of the blue called him Dad…Do that was probably the most defining moment, when he decided that we would all be a family”

Angelina also referred to Jennifer during the interview saying that she would be willing to meet with her,

“but that would be her decision, and I would welcome it”.

I’m not sure how much the Friends star would welcome it though, Jen definitely ended up with the short end of the stick.  Her yummy ex husband is now shacked up with St. Angie and their gorgeous set of kids, while she’s single after Vince reportedly cheated on her.

Although Jen had recently appeared on Oprah to say they were still an item and Vince had threatened to sue US tabloids for saying he had cheated, it was officially confirmed today that the stars of The Break Up and finally broken up.  Their publicists released this statement to People Magazine,

“After Jennifer’s trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship, but continue to be good friends today”

However, US weekly is reporting that Vince is already back to living life as a single man and has been seen partying in Budapest, Hungary with friends at an exotic dance club.

Angelina told a friend that she likes Paris because, “French law strictly limits intrusions by paparazzi- and the locals’ attitude helps, too. ‘People there,’ she told her friend, ‘just disregard us.’” The second issue the couple has to address is whether or not to hire a nanny. Angelina says she, “didn’t have three kids so she could leave them with someone. She insists on being a full-time, hands-on mom.” Brad is determined to hire a nanny to make time for the two of them. However, Angelina “wants to show him that she can be the perfect lover and the perfect mom…If that doesn’t work, she’ll deal with the nanny question then.” Lastly, is the thought of marriage. Brad wants to be married but Angelina is against it, “To Angelina, marriage is just a formality – and I don’t think she needs it to prove her devotion.”

In an attempt to distract herself from the recent news from Angelina and Brad, Jennifer Aniston decided to take a short trip to Paris with Vince Vaughn! The two checked into a $1,000 per night hotel, and were seen kissing and holding hands all over Paris!
