Rita Cosby, the author of the best-selling book, “Blonde Ambition” about Anna Nicole Smith who died on February 8th is being sued by Howard K. Stern over allegations in the book that he and Larry Birkhead, the father of Anna Nicole’s daughter, Dannielynn, were gay lovers.

According to the National Enquirer, Stern is suing Cosby and her publishers for $60 million.

Cosby is accused of trying to influence two of Anna Nicole’s nannies into asserting the allegations made in her book that Birkhead and Stern were having a gay affair, so that she would have a strong defense in the lawsuit.

She wanted them to give an affidavit that they had seen the two men having sex together, offering them up to $15,000 for their testimony, agreeing to travel to the US to appear in court.

It’s been reported and verified by Elizabeth Thompson, attorney for both nannies, that Cosby never talked to either of the nannies before the book was published.

Cosby insists that the nannies watched a video of Stern and Birkhead having sex together. Others connected to the case say the tape was engineered to make it appear fthat a homosexual encounter took place.

Who’s to say what really happened? Anna Nicole’s son, Daniel, died in the Bahamas three days after his baby sister was born. Those who loved Anna Nicole believe that she grieved so intensely over the loss of her beloved Daniel that it was inevitable that she would follow him five months later in death.

Should we care whether her lawyer, Howard K. Smith, or the father of her daughter, Larry Birkhead were recorded in a tryst on video tape?

With Stern bringing a $60 million dollar lawsuit against Cosby and her publishers, my thoughts are that he and Birkhead will ultimately be vindicated. The nannies weren’t swayed by a pay-off and won’t confirm the affair.

Poor Anna Nicole spins like a pinwheel in her grave as her life is continued to be raked over the coals and those like Rita Cosby work like crazy to gain from her demise.

The courts have basically told Anna Nicole’s estranged mother, Virge Arthur to go away in no uncertain terms. 

On Friday, a Bahamas judge in the Court of Appeals tossed out Virgie Arthur’s appeal to block Birkhead from leaving the country with the baby, TV’s Access Hollywood reports.

Calling the arguments from Arthur – the mother of Dannielynn’s late mother, Anna Nicole Smith – “weak,” the jurist also ordered Arthur to cough up $3,000 in attorney’s fees for wasting the court’s time.

“I am perplexed why this matter is before us,” said the judge, chastising Arthur.

When Arthur’s attorney attempted to tell the judge that Birkhead would likely fail to bring Dannielynn back for his scheduled June 8 custody hearing, the judge again dismissed her.

“It’s as if Virgie lost every round of a fight“, said Access reporter Tony Potts.

Howard Stern who was at the hearing pledged his support for Larry Birkhead for as long as it took.  Now crazy Virgie is out of the way it looks like it’s a home run for Larry to bring Dannielynn who is now 7 months  back to the States.

The dispute that erupted over who was the baby’s father was settled Tuesday when a judge in the Bahamas ruled, based on DNA tests, in favor of California photographer and former Smith boyfriend Larry Birkhead.

Willa Ford, 26 who was born and raised in a trailer park, describes herself as the ‘bad girl of pop’ and is probably best known for being a contestant on reality TV show, Dancing with the Stars, dating Nick Carter and like Anna Nicole posing nude for Playboy in 2006. I’m sure it will be an Oscar winning performance.

As expected Larry Birkhead has been revealed as the father of Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter Dannielynn.  The obviously jublient Birkhead declared, “I hate to be the one to  tell you this, ‘But I told you so’!  The probability of paternity is 99.9999%.   Dr. Baird revealed the results to the court  announcing, “essentially he is the biological father“. 

Howard Stern responded to the results saying, “I am obviously very disappointed … I am not going to fight Larry Birkhead for custody.  I will do everything I can to make sure he gets sole custody.” He did say that he wou  like the transition to be “gradual,” so the baby can adjust and that he will be staying in the Bahamas.   Stern said that Larry is welcome to come to his home in the Bahamas and spend as much time with his baby as he would like and in what TMZ refer to as a ‘remarkable twist’ the two men hugged it out on the courtroom steps.

 However the battle for Dannilynn, Vergie Arthur, Anna Nicole’s estranged mother has announced she will continue her battle for custody of the baby girl.  “All I care about and all I ever cared about was the safety of Dannielynn.”  Her attorned has suggested she will look for dual guardianship with Larry.  Until the custody battle is resolved Dannielynn will be remaining in the Bahamas. 

So there you go, after all that Larry Birkhead is the father, no big surprise to those who’ve been following the whole crazy story but still Anna Nicole’s crazy ass mama wants to get in the way between Larry and little Dannielynn, will this story ever have an end point?  Probably not but paternity battles, batshit crazy relatives, copious amounts of drugs, billions of dollars, suspected murder/suicides - this has been better than any episode of Greys or Desperate Housewifes.  Whatever it is, it doesn’t even feel like a story based anywhere in reality anymore so who knows where it will turn next?

Looks like Howard Stern is rowing back even before the DNA results in the Danniylnn paternity battle are released on Tuesday in a Bahamian court.  TMZ report that ‘unimpeachable’ sources have issue a statement, a pretty long statment, so I’ll only quote the relevant bits but if you are an avid follower of the Anna Nicole Smith story just click on source and it will take you to the full article:

If Larry Birkhead is confirmed to be Dannielynn’s biological father, Howard will not challenge custody. His love for her will not change, irrespective of the results. While Howard continues to believe and hope that he is Dannielynn’s biological father, he wants to be involved in her life, regardless of paternity.  Howard will do whatever is necessary to assist Larry Birkhead to defeat any effort by Virgie Arthur to obtain custody of Dannielynn. Speculation that this is somehow about money for Howard is misguided and wrong. Howard has never made a TV or book deal even though he is the one who knew Anna Nicole best. As TMZ reported earlier, the money from Anna Nicole’s funeral went to a trust set up for Dannielynn. Howard set up the trust but he does not, and will not, receive any money from it and is not the trustee.”

So after all the wrangling that has gone on over the months it seems that Howard is now basically admitting that he is not the father and the most probable likelihood is that Larry Birkhead is.  All I can say is what a waster of time, why didn’t he just submit to DNA testing from the word go if he wasn’t in it for some form of financial benefit?

A source told the tabloid that she rowed with Federline on Valentine’s Day, adding that she had been hoping for a reconciliation, but he said he was taking her to court in a battle for the children and wanted a hair follicle for drug testing.

“Britney was crying and said she would kill herself if she lost the boys,” a source told the Enquirer. “She started pulling her hair and told Kevin she would cut it all off before anyone touched it.”

The Enquirer said Spears’s family immediately put her under watch.

“But during the night she escaped and tried to walk into oncoming traffic,” said the source.

“Britney said she wanted to kill herself. She later grabbed a bottle of Xanax and said she’d take the whole bottle - she didn’t care what happened to her.”

After shaving her head at the weekend, Spears has been spotted around Hollywood wearing a cheap blonde wig. Psychologists warn her behaviour could be more than just a cry for help.

“Britney’s family are terrified she’ll end up like Anna Nicole Smith - on a cold slab in a morgue, leaving her young sons without a mother,” said the source.

“She’s on the same self-destructive path.”

Howard K Stern took to the stand yesterday to describe his relationship with Anna Nicole Smith

He says Anna was obsessed with death:

She talked of death really from the time that I met her. Anna in a lot of ways thought she was going to die young and thought she was going to be like Marilyn Monroe. She [also] thought she was going to die giving birth to Dannielynn.”

Stern claimed their relationship had been on going for the last 2 years but they had kept it a secret.

He added that Daniel’s death destroyed her emotionally:

“She died emotionally when Daniel died,” Stern said. “She had real problems accepting Daniel was gone. She had people open the casket and she was just inconsolable and was hugging him and wanted to go down with him. For the most part, Anna didn’t leave her room [when Daniel died].”

Of Daniel he said the 20 year old was “like a brother to him..Daniel was a great boy and a wonderful wonderful person.”

Oddly he said that J. Howard Marshall was, “truly, truly the love of her life”.Sterns’ lawyers also played a tape to the court in which Anna’s lets rip on the hatred for her mother:
“You want to hear all the things she did to me? You want to hear all the things she let my father do to me, or my brother do to me? Or my sister?” Smith said, glaring at the camera. “All the beatings and the whippin’s and the rape? That’s my mother. That’s my mom!” she snarled.

Tensions in the court room ran high, at one stage, Larry Birkhead’s layers, Debra Opi allegedly muttered, “You killed Anna” at Stern, prompting an outcry from Sterns’ laywer, Krista Barth, The judge eventually told the feuding lawyers to cut it out.

The New York Post reports that at Judge Seidlin also threatened to seize control of the issue of Dannielynn’s paternity:”Don’t I need to know who the father is?” Seidlin asked the lawyers, suggesting he might order a DNA test.

Birkhead has volunteered to take the test but Stern has refused, odd as he claims he is most definitely the father.

• Is Judge Seidlin biased towards Howard Stern?

In another odd twist to this already surreal reality show style court case, Judge Seidlin offered Stern a choice of 2 private jets to take him back to the Bahamas for the night. The eccentric judge said originally Stern would only have to stay one day in court but then told him, “I like having you here” and asked him to stay til Wednesday!!! TMZ refer to him as ‘practically begging’ Stern to show up: “Please don’t embarrass me by not showing up.”

• Was Howard trying to change the will to make it more beneficial to him?

As if all that wasn’t enough, this morning, TMZ reveal another disturbing and even more sinister turn of events . They have obtained a fax sent just 6 days before Anna’s death and they say it “raises questions about Anna Nicole’s intent to change her will”

The fax contains Anna’s existing will, and lists a phone number that appears to be one of Howard Stern’s lawyer Ron A Rale’s number. Under the will, Stern was not protected, he was only trustee of the only beneficiary, Daniel who had already died. As a result Dannielynn was due to inherit all of Anna’s assets outside the will unless Stern was found to be the father.

Anna’s mental health at that time is thought by many to be at least describable as ‘unstable’, so whether she was would be deemed legally capable of making changes to her will is dubious.

TMZ asks the question was Howard about to change Anna’s will and if so does this acknowledge the fact that Daniel predeceasing Anna had ‘derailed his position’??

Every day poses new questions and they all seem to have one common thread, Howard Stern.

Today’s update on the Anna Nicole Smith saga takes a malevolent turn.. TMZ claim that they can prove that Anna was methadone while pregnant while her former nanny accuses Anna of starving baby Dannielynn so she would look sexy.

• TMZ obtained documents including a possible illegal prescription for methadone, an air bill for Deremol, sleeping pills and injectiable vial sof vitamin B12 were sent to Anna (under her legal name Vicki) in the Bahamas

TMZ contacted Dr. Kapoor, a 1996 graduate of Boston University School of Medicine, who said, “No comment and they also contacted Key Pharmacy. The owner said patient privacy laws prevent him from commenting.

Perhaps even more shocking is the sworn affidavit by Anna’s former nanny which contains the following allegations:

That Anna forced her to ‘underfeed’ Danneilynn as Anna was obsessed with making sure the baby was ’sexy’ - Anna insisted that the nanny fed her 2.5 ounces every 3 hours instead of the requisite 3 ounces.

That Anna threatened to ’shoot here’ if the Dannielynn ever called her ‘Mummy’

That Anna attempted suicide two times during the short time the Nanny was employed by her

The Nanny also described Anna’s affair with the Bahamian Minister of Immigration, Shane Gibson

MSNBC reports that Anna Nicole Smith had at least 2 breast surgeries since giving birth to her little girl 5 months ago and more popping at least 10 different kinds of pills. The medical examiner is still unable to confirm what the cause of Anna’s death was but MSNBC’s Rita Cosby speculates that Anna who had become, “very tired, very weak” after her last breast surgery may have died from the medications she was taking to ease her pain.

Meanwhile the New York post reports that Howard K Stern and baby Dannielynn have moved into the Bahamas’ mansion Anna had been staying in. However even that is in dispute. Anna had claimed that a US developer and former boyfriend, G. Ben Thompson gave her the house but he is claiming he only lent it to Anna and on Friday changed the locks. But Stern had the locks changed again on Sunday and moved into the property known as Horizons. He also filed a robbery complaint over computer equipment and paintings allegedly taken.

Stern’s spokesman, Ron Rale states:

Right now, Howard is very happy to be reunited with Dannielynn but extremely angry that somebody had the gall to break into Anna’s residence

The battle for Dannielynn’s custody is only just getting under way. The Post claim that their legal experts say the eventual decision could determine the baby’s inherititance.

TMZ claim this picture exclusively reveals the contents of Anna’s personal refrigerator she kept in her bathroom in her Bahamas mansion. It contains, Slim-Fast Anna was their competitor Trimspa’s spokeswoman), Miracle 2000 (a nutritional supplement), Worcestshire Sauce, yogurt and spray butter. What is disturbing is the methadone and what appears to be vials of inject able medicines. Anna’s son died as a result of a drug overdose including methadone.

Although police deny reports that Howard Stern was seen flushing methadone down the toilet after Daniel died, a witness is going to testify that happened at Daniel’s inquest next month.
