Will Ferrell has been named GQ’s “Funnyman of the Year” in its new December “Men of the Year” issue, and appears on one of the issue’s five covers, side by side with his “Anchorman” character, Ron Burgundy. For his interview,GQ quizzes the star’s Ron Burgundy persona on some of 2013’s biggest news stories. Answering questions like: What transpired during the historic conversation between Barack Obama and Iranian president Hassan Rouhani (“President Obama basically asked Hassan if he likes to party,” he explains), and What is twerking? (“This was actually stolen from the Navy Seals. It is the maneuver they used to stun Bin Laden’s guards”), Ferrell shows just how good he is at playing clueless.
