A Worthy Cause!

Jenny Seagrove and a campaign to stop the long cruel road to the animal slaughterhouses.

International animal welfare groups, including WSPA, RSPCA and CIWF, have come together for the first time to bring an end to the cruel and unnecessary long distance transport of animals for slaughter.

    the cruelty is completely unacceptable. if frozen meat is not an option then vegetarianism surely is and is more nutritious, especially as stock are fed additives, hormones and drugs.
    people who make choices with consideration for animal suffering will be rewarded with better health.
    and on the related topic of human suffering: housing space and seat space in aircraft is such that humans are often made to feel like cattle. all lifeforms on the planet are now cramped for space. there are obviously far too many of us.
    celebrities with one or less offspring should get positive attention for their responsible decision not to contribute to overcrowding. they would be doing good for the entire ecosystem.
