Neil Morrissey - Actor and dog lover

On Sunday 6th January 2008, Actor and dog lover Neil Morrissey joined with over 100 dogs and their owners as they walked from Battersea Dogs Home to the centre of Battersea Park, to launch the Dog Adoption Drive.

Last year 7800 dogs in the UK were put to sleep for want of a home and dog re-homing centres receive no government funding. In response, The Dog Adoption drive aims to raise £500,000 by the end of March 2008 to benefit Dog Rescue Centres across the UK.
