BBC TV STRICTLY COME DANCING star Matt Di Angelo has been inundated with letters offering him dates.

“I got sent pants, chocolates and shot glass - that was a bit strange. I was thinking: ‘So they want to get me drink, feed me chocolates..”

Matt also confesses he fancies his dance partner Flavia. He tells Closer magazine:”She’s stunning. But she’s totally out of my league. The same with Alesha Dixon, she’s gorgeous but there’s nothing going on - I wish!!” He also claims he’s lost a stone since the show started.

Fellow contestant, Gethin Jones admits he has had fan letters from men as well as women wanting dates. “And one guy asked me my dirty socks, which is a bit freaky. I get recognised all the time now. I was in Waterloo Station the other day and this woman came right up to me and shouted in my face: Gethin! I was like ‘What?’”

He adds:

“It’s impossible not to fancy your partner a little bit when you spend so much time together. Camilla is absolutely gorgeous and we’ve got on so well, so we’re like best friends now. My mates all fancy her too, though. They phone up to tell me which outfit they like her best in!”
