Robbie Coltrane Learns how to cook curry, India Quay style
Robbie Coltrane donned his apron to cook up a hot little number in Glasgow for his new ITV series ‘B Road Britain’
India Quay were delighted to host Robbie Coltrane when he donned his apron at their contemporary Indian restaurant in Glasgow as part of his new TV programme for ITV1 called ‘Robbie Coltrane’s B Road Britain’ which transmitted earlier this year.

Pardeep Sanghera commented:
“Since Robbie’s appearance, the number of new clientele has doubled, with customers calling from all over the UK to make their reservation. Our appearance on the show has made us somewhat of a landmark, like the Finnieston Crane and Squinty Bridge.
People planning a trip to Glasgow, are now making a point of booking a table. Last week an Australian tourist embarking on her own tour of Britain, watched the show and booked a table. Afterwards she urged us to open a place in Australia!”
B Road Britain was a new 3 part series for ITV1 which followed Robbie’s journey, in a vintage Jaquar convertible, from London to Glasgow without using motorways. The premise of the series was Robbie Coltrane’s travels from London to Glasgow, willfully driving off the beaten track on a quest to re-discover the essence of Britishness.
Robbie Coltrane, OBE is a Scottish television and film actor.
