Simon Cowell, X Factor judge, TV’s Mr. Nasty and famous wearer of high-waisted trousers, can dish out the abuse, but he can’t take it.  His bitchy put-downs and cutting dismissals are legendary but he admitted recently that he hides in his dressing room after the show because he is afraid of the contestants’ mothers shouting at him.
