Avril Lavigne is sitting pretty at number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 200 Album Chart after shifting an impressive 286,000 copies, trouncing the competition.  But is her record company trying to cheat the many Avril fans out there and inflate her record numbers at the same time?  Idolator have discovered that Avril’s label, SonyBMG is only making the uncensored version of her new album, ‘The Best Damn Thing’ to those who are willing to shell out the extra mula for the the more expensive CD/DVD edition.

You can pick up a  copy of the uncersored version in stores now for $9.99 but if you want to hear Avril’s true angst, expletives and all then you have to shell out $16.99 for the CD/DVD version.  Good to see record companies are still willing to rape teenagers for every dime they have - another surefire way to prevent illegal downloads.
