Avril Lavigne was presented a plaque in Tokyo today for her record The Best Damn Thing going platinum. The Canadian pop tartlet’s album currently stands at number 1. in 11 different countries icnluding the US, UK, Japan, Germany, Italy, Austria, Mexico and Canada. The Best Damn Thing is now officially the biggest debut of the year so far outselling Norah Jones’s newest offering.

I saw her perform on tv in japan here the other day… pretty luke warm. Her new song is hot, but she needs to bring way more energy to the stage. C’mon girl, everyone’s buying your albums, at least *act* like you care about doing a good job for all your fans..geez.
