Jennifer and Mark on a surprise visit to London this weekend - most probably to meet with their lawyers. J-Lo and Mar are suing the US National Enquirer in several European courts over articles published in the Enquirer that alleged that Marc was linked to a heroin scandal. Paul Tweed their Northern Ireland based lawyer has stated they are seeking a “six-figure settlement“.
The Enquirer pusblished a photo taken in 2004 of J-Lo’s hubby beside Michael Star, a photographer who is awaiting trial in the States for heroin possession and child pornography. The couple’s lawyer maintains that neither Jennifer nor Marc are acquaintances of Michael Star and that Marc simply posed with Star in ‘a fan capacity’ Already Tweed has filed one lawsuit in a Belfast court, with further suits to be filed in London, Dublin and Paris.
Jennifer and Marc chose to sue in Europe as opposed to the US because in their lawyer’s words:
“The First Amendment restrictions in US libel law make it virtually impossible for international celebrtiies or other high profile individuals to sue successfully”
Whatever, like anyone takes the National Enquirer as gospel. What concerns me is the fact that Jennifer is wearing flared metallic pants that have tassels at the end - isn’t that some sort of fashion crime - she should be suing her stylist instead of the Enquirer.

[…] I am still keeping the faith though, at least she’s not wearing J’Lo’s fringed silver flares (yet) […]
