Those Jay Z baby daddy rumours that have been circling for years are not going away.  So much so that the Jay’s rep has had to come out to issue a denial that he is the father of Trinidiadian video model Shenelle Scott’s son:

“There is no truth to these ridiculous rumors,” a spokesperson for Jay-Z told AllHipHop.com exclusively.  “People should be ashamed of using this kind of story and exploiting“ a child for publicity and ratings.” 

Shenelle and Jay Z first met on a shoot for the rapper’s ‘Big Pimpin’ video in 1998.  Shenelle’s baby boy was born January 30 2002 in LA and despite the fact that another man’s name is on the birth cert, pictures of Beyonce’s man with Shenelle and the boy have been popping up all over the place in recent months.   

Sandra Rose who broke the story orignally and is standing firmly by it is reporting today that Shenelle is now being offered big money for her story.  XXL, King Magazine and Playboy are just some of the publications looking to offer her some lucrative deal

“By the way, word is Jay Z has no problem with Shenelle going for hers. After all, she is entitled to the money as the mother of a music mogul’s son. Too bad said mogul doesn’t think enough of his own seed to publicly acknowledge him.”
