Life&Style are reporting that Britney is unable to live the single life and is now dating Howie Day whom she hooked up with at Promises.  Allegedly Brit, “fell hard for him” and is going to bring the singer as her date to her cousin Erin’s June wedding

“Britney just lights up and seems back to her old self when she talks to Howie or tells people about him,” an “insider” tells the mag. “She thinks he’s very talented — and says he’s the best kisser ever!”

 However Mama Spears isn’t too pleased that her superstar daughter has a taste for bad boys.  Hoie has been arrested twice already and his stint at Promises was part of his probation deal.

“Lynne wants Britney to be with someone outside the music industry,” says the Spears family insider. “Howie is always on the road and exposed to influences that are discouraged in rehab

Seeing as I’ve never heard of Howie I turned to that wealth of information that is Wikipedia.  It seems like he had some minor success in 2002 in Australia and his highest US chart position was #46 in 2003 with Stop All The World Now.  He seems like a real charmer in 2004, Howie was accused of locking a fan in he bathroom of his tour bus and destroying another fans mobile phone.  In 2005 he was arrested for verbally abusing the flight crew while under the influence of alcohol and sleeping pills, being a total rebel he smoked a cigarette while on the airplane and kicked the seats of his fellow passengers. 

In a blatant publicity move his rep wrote to New York gossip column Page 6 to say that Howie was Britney’s mysterious tennis partner at Promises and that Howie, ‘is promising to finish his next album when he emerges’

This picture of Brit was taken yesterday leaving Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Beverley Hills where she was celebrating little sister Jamie Lynn’s birthday.  Despite the fact that Brit managed to get a huge stain on the front of her top and that she’ s wearing no bra she looked fit, health and happy.  So she needs to listen to Mama Spears and get rid of this publicity seeking man whore and continue on her way back to her rightful position as Princess of Pop
