If we’re crying and you’re holding us and get a hard-on, we deduct points. And getting a boner while we’re sleeping next to you is not an excuse to wake us up.”

Rolling Stones has released its view on Beyonce’s B-Day album and the accompanying music videos and to put it nicely they’re not a fan. Some of quotes from the article include:
Remember when Beyonce was cool? Okay, not cool, exactly, but cooler. She broke away from the occasionally charming Destiny’s Child thing and came out with this giant solo album Dangerously in Love, dominated international airspace with her runaway single “Crazy in Love” and started showing up everywhere on Jay-Z’s arm.Since then, her boyfriend has released a mediocre comeback album and is helping sell Budweiser and diet Cherry Coke for dudes. B, meanwhile, had to watch an American Idol reject steal the Dreamgirls spotlight and has been reduced to chasing the alleged “Latin audience” with “Beautiful Liar,” a militant, guy-loathing duet with Shakira. And now this “Upgrade U” video comes out. It features a bling-wearing alligator, shots of the pop star doing a J Lo impression while sitting awkwardly in the trunk of a white Rolls, some terrifically bad hair and a weird sequence in which Beyonce impersonates her boyfriend. (In her eyes Jay apparently wears gold hoop earrings and regularly curls his lip like a blinged out cross-dressing Elvis impersonator). For a second there, it was possible Beyonce was going to be the R&B diva version of J.T., transforming from cheesy pop tart to genius pop star in one solo album. Instead she’s become a glossy self-parody, whose artistic influence on her formerly untouchably awesome boyfriend seems to be…the opposite of good.
What do you think, is B-Day just a blip on the Beyonce radar or is Rolling Stone’s opinion closer to the truth? VIPglamour thought Beyonce had completely lost the run of things when Beyonce’s promo shots for the new album first appeared:
Deja-Vu definitely wasn’t up to Crazy in Love standards, ’Irreplacable’ was a much better effort but the Shakira/Beyonce duet was a weak effort and the video’s 1990 styling was disappointing. Upgrade U is another poor track and the video’s production value is of a much higher quality than Beautiful Liar is just plain odd. VIPglamour holds out hope for Beyonce’s next album and hopes she’ll bounce back.
Scarlett Johannson checking out the Louis Vuitton Fashion Show in Paris yesterday following the Olsen’s trend of washed out make up but teeming it with perhaps the ugliest bag ever. Seeing as Scarlett is currently the face of Louis Vuitton you’d think they’d have hooked her up with something a little less charity shop

Which sexpot actress, infamous for her on-set hookups, is sticking mighty close to the married co-star of her current release? He arrived unexpectedly at the film premiere’s after-party and was close with her all night.
