More details have emerged on Britney’s trip to Esther’s Haircutting Studio in Tarzana, California. Ester Tognozzi gives the lowdown on what happened Friday night. She says Brit came in accompanied by her bodyguards and told Esther, “I want you to buzz my hair off”. Esther realising what a drastic decision it was tried to talk the Oops I Did It Again singer out of it but Britney was having none of it. She said, “I’ll do it” and proceeded to shave her own head. She had complained that her extensions were ‘very tight and uncomfortable but when it was done,

Larry Rudolph, Britney’s mentor and recently re-appointed manager said of the situation,

“Britney has been through a tragic thing that hopefully will never happen again, shaving her hair was a sort of therapeutic thing for her. Britney knows that she needs help and is already going through counselling, she knows what needs to be done and is slowly re-building herself step by step.”

Britney’s mum, Lyne Spears has also flown from Louisiana to LA presumably to look after her troubled daughter.

Some are speculating that Britney might be suffering from post partum depression, others blame her recent behaviour on an out of control drug habit, whatever the reason she’s clearly unhappy and desperate for help, hopefully her mum and the people around her will get her that help.
