Nicole Ritchie was charged yesterday with misdemeanour driving under the influence. As reported she was arrested on December 11^th for going the wrong way down a freeway in La while on vicodin and weed. Her arraignment is scheduled for Feb 21. The simple life star already has a prior misdemeanour DUI that she picked up in 2003

Her publicist Nicola Perna is not returning calls.

The Californian code specifies that someone specified that if convicted of DUI twice in 10 years that person can be sentenced to between 90 days and 1 year in jail, fined up to $1000 and have their driving privileges suspended.

Last month, Ritchie’s Simple Life Star and ex BFF Pairs pleaded no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving and was sentenced to 36 months probations and a €1500 fine.
