More details of Anna Nicole Smith’s death are pouring in and with each passing report the cause of her death becomes more and more suspicious:

A New York TV station WCBSTV are claiming that investigators have found narcotics and prescription drugs in the room where Anna Nicole Smith was staying. Police have not yet confirmed that they have removed anything. Although they were seen carrying out several brown bags sealed with evidence tape.

- Access Hollywood report that an employee found Anna in her room appearing,“to have choked on her own vomit”.  They also claim that Anna had taken a “children’s sedative”

- ET report that Anna had arrived at the hotel on Monday already appearing sick but her fever had broken by Wednesday. But that same day she fell and hit her head in the bathroom. - The New York Post reports that witnesses at the hotel Anna was staying said she needed help standing up and sitting down.

“She was completely out of it,” Ron Hanson, a 57-year-old retiree, told the Orlando Sentinel.

A hotel worker who did not want to be identified said Smith was a frequent guest and [that] “she does a lot of drugs.”

“This was not the first time she passed out here,” the worker said. “She has passed out numerous times in this hotel.”

Confirmed Details:

- Capt. Dan Fitzgerald of Hollywood Fire states that when paramedics came Anna was intubated to clear her airway and an IV was inserted to administer adrenaline-type drugs, such as Narcan, which is usually given in cases of drug overdose.

-  The Florida authorities held a press conference yesterday to confirm the details of her death:

• At 1:38 p.m. Eastern time Thursday, a female private nurse in the sixth-floor hotel room with Anna Nicole called the hotel front desk operator, who has 911 access, for help. Only the nurse was in the room with Anna Nicole at this time. It is not known why a private nurse was with her.
• At 1:45 p.m., a bodyguard arrived in the room and administered CPR to Anna Nicole.
• When the emergency response team arrived, they found Anna Nicole unconscious and unresponsive. She was then rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital, about three blocks away from the hotel.
• At 2:49 p.m., Anna Nicole was pronounced dead.

Under the law of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas Howard K Stern has already assumed the title of ‘legal guardian’ of Anna’s daughter Dannielynn:

The law states, “On the death of the mother of a child, the father, if surviving, shall, subject to the provision of this Act, be guardian of the child, either alone or jointly with any guardian appointed by the mother. ”
Anna had named Stern as the father on her daughter’s birth certificate.
