Us is reporting that the ratings heavyweight is shopping for a Paula Abdul replacement, and apparently they’re looking into an even bigger disaster- Courtney Love. Courtney is scheduled to guest judge, and possibly take over for Abdul. Love reveals to her favorite magazine Web site that Idol’s executive producer Nigel Lythgoe called her office last week inquiring into whether she would be interested in sitting in as a judge on the hit FOX show.
“He called,” Love tells Usmagazine.com. “He was wondering if I was interested. I
thought it was kind of weird but brilliant.”
Courtney is currently recording her own album. Judging from Courtney’s past history, I don’t think she can stay sober long enough to film a weekly LIVE show.

You have got to be kidding me, right! It’s bad enough that we have to watch all the strange and weird in order to get a taste of the talent,but i’ll never watch american idol again if they have Courtney Love as a judge.What kind of example are you guys trying to set? Wanting to have a heroin addict as a judge.. makes me sick!!

YES! I HATE American Idol… never even watched a whole episode… but if Courtney Love becomes a judge it will probably become my favorite show! Come on, you know she’s the shiz nit.. I love you Courtney!
