  She needs to back off , of Oprah. Donald Trump told her were to go so now she has to find something new to make her look more ignorant.

  Rosie is a bully, small people talk about people but as soon as someone says anything about a gay person the entire world must feel their pain because Rosie is the spokesperson and she knows what’s best, but it’s OK for her to do or say whatever regardless of whom it offends.   Rosie really need to slow down. First of all she talks about Trump and then she goes into saying how American Idol is wrong for the way they talk about its contestants. If Barbara Walters had any decency, she would consider removing Rosie from her show. Instead she rather sit and make childish comments along with Rosie. What happen to the really serious talk shows.   I think Rosie is feeling the end of her career and all she can do to save it is make some headlines some way some how.Most celeberties would do this by opening a clothing line,or get some photo opps with a big time mag.   I stopped watching the View when Rosie was hired on. In my opinion “she” is no one to be tossing around morals. She thinks she is funny I guess, but really she is just plain disgusting! Live and let live though, but I still change the channel.

  Barbara ( Walters ), eventually all this “bashing” on Rosie’s part will catch up to you, I agree … FIRE her and move on! The “view” of the people is beginning to become very clear, maybe Donald Trump was right on target.

  Wow!! This is exactly why I don’t watch TV, hardly, anymore. I did NOT see or hear this happening, but I will say that I will NOT watch “The View”. What a waste of time that one is, however I do occassionaly watch Oparah. She is actually inspiring at times and is worth my while. She is not “Yappy” . I can’t stand that, in most talk shows.

  Ok, a few things. I don’t like Rosie either, but:

  A. Rosie is a loud-mouth, but this is a free country. If you don’t like what she says, don’t listen.

  B. The entire world is obsessed with Oprah. She’s very successful and certainly very rich and good for her, but that does not give her any more god-like status than it does Rosie.

  C. Why is Rosie’s loud-mouth such a priority in this country?! Talk about shallow. Who the hell cares what she says?

  Why does anyone care what Rosie thinks in the first place?
  Her sole purpose for even existing is to entertain. And since her moral and intellectual opinions are of no value, what would be entertaining is if she cut the pointless preaching and just mud wrestled her weekly adversaries. Can you imagine Rosie mud wrestling Donald Trump, or better yet, Oprah? Now that might be entertaining.
  It’s time this blow hard celebrity gets back to being the circus act she is paid to be and stops trying to be relevant.

  A few of the comments I read hit on the real issue …. Why would someone with the reputation of Barbara Walters even considered such an angry, bitter person as Rosie O’Donnel to co-host a morning talk show?

  Could it be that Barbara is loosing HER influence with the public so quickly that she will stoop to allowing such trash to be televised. Outrageous ratings are better than NO ratings, right?

  As far as talk shows go, there are definitely more stations with more solutions to life’s problems than creating new ones as “The View” has stooped to broadcasting.

  Rosie O’Donnell is allowed to bash people on ‘The View’ because Barbara Walters has lost all integrity. Ratings are the bottom line for Barbara. I remember the time when Barbara was held in high esteem but now lacks all credibility. First, she told blatant lies about the situation with Star Jones, particularly that she fired Star and told her she could say anything and Barbara would support her story (whatever it was). When Star chose to tell the truth without giving Barbara notice of the announcement, Barbara reacted as if Star’s departure was news to her, and then publicly bashed her. Second, her hiring of Rosie shows her loss of judgment. And third, after Rosie’s public fued with Donald Trump, Barbara again publicly turned on one she had previously called a friend. The public high five she shared with Rosie served as authorization for Rosie to taken on anyone of her chosing. I don’t watch The View anymore because I cannot tolerate ‘The World According to Rosie’.

  While you may be right about some things Rosie, Oprah is not the person you should be critizing. If you feel passionately about this whole ordeal then don’t bring it to the spotlight instead reach out as if you were looking for a new lesbian relationship “discreetly” at least for the benefit of the child that was abducted.   1.Personally I believe Rosie is getting away with saying whatever she wants and “The View” is not doing anything about it.

  2. I work in the mental health field by way of criminal court system. A person said they didn’t understand why this young man and his family did this interview. It was because of the media. If they did not do it soon they would of hounded him while he was going through therapuetic counseling and the other reason was because if you have been trapped in the grip of fear the way you break out is through stepping out which was a step toward healing for this boy. I know a lot of good psychologist and I know some who criticize anything that is not done their way. In my opinion and experience those were the psychologist who always needed a bodyguard of some time to work. They don’t see taking back your voice as a step toward healing unless they give the person their voice back.

  3. I like Oprah but, I don’t agree with everything she does but, in this she did the right thing and this boy’s family picked the right person to interview him She too had been abrused and because she hid it so long, although she was successful in her career, her life was a mess. I think she help him to show him the experience does not have to define you. I had to share those same words to a member of my family…who took her voice back and is doing great now.

  The best thing we all can do is pray for the boy and his family because they have a long road ahead of them.

  I agree what the letter and a majority of the responses on the site. Everyone has a right to an opinion. Unfortunately, we live in a time where the peoples’ voices are not being heard. This post is proof of that!

  If you have money (and preferably white), it’s very easy to bring things to the spotlight. One does not to have any ulterior motives to write about things that needed to be said. Oprah helps a lot of people and it’s upsetting to some when critics unfairly attack her.

  Perhaps you operate in those types of relationships “indiscreetly” yourself. If you do, that’s your business. Don’t judge. Because everyone is freaky like you sound.

  The media keeps touting that The View’s ratings are up. If they are it’s only by a small percentage or ABC is lying in the press. I know several people who stopped watching this show. If you don’t approve of the gay lifestyle one is labeled “homophobic” by Rosie. If you have a close, friendly, same gender relationship, you’re labeled “closeted gay” by Rosie. Barbara Walters can claim to adore this woman but what in the hell was she thinking? Oprah owes no explanations to this woman who has nothing but nasty and vile things to say about every issue and every person.
  Did Rosie ever think that Shawn’s parents accepted the invitation for all of them to be on Oprah’s show? He was gone for 4 years so of course, the public wanted to hear them talk just for a little while. The Horbeck/Aker family did their media thing and now are in seclusion. No one had to ask for Rosie’s permission. Can you tell her that Barbara?
