Hip-hop star, Wyclef Jean, becomes an ambassador to Haiti.
President Rene Prevel of Haiti recently appointed Jean to an honorary position to help promote and improve the image of the country. Haiti, a Caribbean nation, is known as the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Haiti is struggling to restore stability after a violent rebellion in 2004.
Haiti’s Foreign Affairs Minister Renald Clermise said. “We have so much to recover from with our bad reputation. With Wyclef, we can gain a lot.”
Jean, 34, was born in Haiti but left there for the United States when he was nine years old. He was also a prominent member of the Grammy-winning group, The Fugees, featuring Lauryn Hill. Recently, he has been a crusader against poverty in Haiti. His charity, Yele Haiti Foundation, help promotes the arts, education, and sports to help bring jobs and development to his homeland.

I am a true fan of Mr Jean. I like the kind of works he is doing in Haiti. He is an example for the new generation. Here in America, i work, impower as a case manager, and support many families. Last year I was rewarded NAtional Case Manager of the Federal State of America for my work in the area of education, Housing, Health . I would to invite Mr Jean to join us at Montgomery College In Silver Spring MD. I need an Official Websit where I can reach MR Jean.
