And this years winner - Paul Potts was a real unknown this time last year - indeed when we made our first post about the amazing Paul Potts - Celebrity Opera Star, we never for one second thought his success would be on the level it has turned out to be.
VipGlamour.net can I believe claim to be one of the first sites online to mention / rate Paul Potts and while his success is in no way down to us, we are very proud to have been one of the first sites to recognise his undoubted TALENT and genuine, down to earth personality.

Just shoot me, if you don’t agree, but I adore David Spade. He’s that scrawny, short guy with an amazing sense of humor who managed to get himself romantically connected in Hollywood headlines with the likes of Kristy Swanson, Lara Flynn Boyle and Heather Locklear.
Now he’s reportedly making time with the recently separated star of “The Office” - Jenna Fischer.

Jenna Fischer plays the second wife of singer Dewey Cox in the comedy Walk Hard, which is currently out in theaters. She said that she completely ripped off Reese Witherspoon’s character in Walk the Line for the role. She blogged about the film on her MySpace right before its December 21 release date, and said that working on it was a “dream come true.” As for the content of the film, she praises her co-star John C. Reilly professionalism and warns that the film “is very raunchy and sexy and the humor is hard core,” and that “ladies, we have penis.”
Blah, blah, blah.
All I care about is the fact that David Spade is once again getting busy with another Hollywood honey, which just goes to show that the ‘marital clean-up’ guy never finishes last. Especially when that guy has a one hell of a great personality.
Nicole Kidman is expecting her first child with husband, Keith Urban.
Daily Mail reports that they made the announcement to their families over the Christmas holiday.
Kidman and Urban were married in June of 2006. Their prenuptial agreement reportedly states that she would pay him $600,000 for each year of their marriage. However, he would get nothing in divorce if he started using cocaine again or drank excessively.
Four months into the marriage, Keith suffered a relapse and checked himself into a rehab center where he stayed for almost three months. Nicole remained unconditionally at his side.
Her relationship with Isabella and Conner, her two adopted children from her marriage to Tom Cruise, has been a highlight in the news recently.
Kidman told the British talk show GMTV that her kids don’t call her “Mommy” or “Mom.” They instead tend to call her by her first name.
A December interview in Parade Magazine quoted Katie Holmes, Cruise’s current wife who gave birth to their first child, Suri, as saying that Isabella and Connor call her ‘Mom.’
Only time will tell how this all plays out between Nicole and Keith, Tom and Katie in terms of ”yours”, “mine” and “ours” where the children are concerned.
Rebecca DeMornay, the 48-year-old actress of “Risky Business” movie fame and other long-forgotten flicks was nabbed and charged with two counts of misdemeanor driving while under the influence in late October and is scheduled to be arraigned in court on December 31st, New Year’s Eve. How appropriate.
Mischa Barton was arrested on December 27 for driving while under the influence and other assorted goodies - such as having smoked marijuana and having weed in her car, which the cops seized - plus a bottle of unlabeled prescription drugs which got her charged with possession of narcotics and driving with a suspended license.

What is up with these celebs drinking and driving (and who knows what else) without being smart enough to arrange a designated driver? They are certainly well-heeled financially to afford one. You’d think they’d have the smarts with all that money they have in the bank to get them from Point A to Point B without the cops being involved.
After Lindsay Lohan’s drunken escapades and Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and Britney Spears’ brushes with the law as a result of alcohol or drug related charges, it’s practically becoming fashionable in Hollywood for celebrities to be arrested and get their 15 minutes behind bars.
Wouldn’t it be nice if they had to actually pay for their own infractions of the law like the rest of us do?
The National Enquirer reports that Jen is pregnant but her publicist insists the rumor isn’t true.
US Weekly magazine was quick to jump in and say that she was busy downing martinis with Courtney Cox and her husband David Arquette on Christmas Eve in a bar in Beverly Hills, a week after getting her hair dyed by hair stylist Michael Canali.
Drinking and getting hair dyed are apparently sure signs that a Hollywood celeb isn’t pregnant.
The rest of us know that Jen isn’t going to suddenly “get pregnant”. Remember, she was married to the most handsome and desirable man in the world for four years. If he wasn’t able to impregnate her, no one else will get the chance.
At least not until Jen decides that she wants to be pregnant, which could take about another 100 years.
A few days before Christmas, Brad and Ange did something I thought was incredibly nice of them - even though the dollar amount involved might be the equivalent to spare change in the pockets of such millionaires.
While purchasing $70 worth of toys for their kids from a struggling toy and flower shop in North Hollywood, they gave the owner a $130 tip as their way of saying “thank you” for good service.
The owner had been praying for some kind of Christmas miracle with business in a major slump.
What gave his business a nice upward thrust was the fact that Brad and Angie agreed to pose for a few pictures with the owner and his family.
Soon after, business was bustling in the shop once customers found out that they had shopped at the store.
If you think about it, Brad and Angelina give away quite a bit of their wealth on a regular basis. Between helping those stricken by Hurricane Katrina and Angelina’s work helping underprivileged children in foreign countries, you can’t help but think they are a genuinely proactive and giving Hollywood couple.
Name another who does more. Chances are, you can’t think of a single one.

The emphasis on her endorsement of Jenny Craig “will be focused on a healthier lifestyle, not on getting into a specific dress size,” Scott Parker, the company’s vice president of marketing told People Magazine.
Right.
And Kirstie Alley and Valerie Bertinelli managed to make those big Jenny Craig bucks as poster children for OCD: Over-eating Constantly, Duh.

Still, when you get down to it, who can blame Latifah for wanting to endorse a program that will help her shed all that unhealthy fat? Whether she says so or not, that’s the bottom line. Go to work for Jenny Craig, you are destined to become a slimmer, trimmer “you.” A much healthier “you” in the long run, wearing a smaller dress size.

The father of Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears is reportedly so angry that he’s ready to nail his ex-wife, Lynn, to the wall.
He can’t believe that she sold the story of their 16-year-old daughter’s pregnancy to the press.
According to Us Magazine: “Jamie Lynn and Lynne broke the news to OK! - infamous for multi-million dollar payouts to celebrities - for an unspecified amount. ‘He put his foot down and refused to take any money and ‘profit off of his children,’ the source says. ‘Lynne didn’t care.’ Jamie (the father) is devastated by the news,” says the source. “He’s ‘extremely depressed’ and ‘feels Jamie Lynn ruined her life.’”
Imagine: The father of two well-paid celebrity children who have both become nothing short of freaks where the media is concerned is furious. His ex-wife is cashing a million dollar check, thanks to one of their daughters getting knocked up underage while she’s a TV star.
Gee, do you think he’s realizing that maybe he and Lynn whored out their offspring a little too much and now they’re dealing with the consequences of all that high-powered pimping?
She’s reportedly getting so swollen and fat from pregnancy that she has decided to put her career on hold and is basically going into hiding until she delivers.
Believed to be about five months pregnant now, she’s gained 42 pounds and is retaining a lot of water, according to press reports.
A source says, “She is hibernating. You won’t be seeing much of her in public from now on.”
What a shame that she feels she needs to hang in the shadows during one of life’s most beautiful journeys -her own impending motherhood.

The truth is people focus on what they believe in so if Jamie Lynn believes that she is not worth taking care of, then she will struggle to find success after this baby arrives. But, if she focuses on what she was created for, she will make a difference in life.
