Madonna Fails To See The Funny Side At British Comedy Awards

December 14th, 2006 · 1 Comment

Madonna made an appearance at the British Comedy Awards last night in London to present Borat creator, Sascha Baron Cohen with a special award. However the night wasn’t all laughs for Mads after the host Jonathan Ross made a joke about the new addition to her family:

Congratulations on your little lovely black baby, David. Are you stopping there, or getting more? When I went to Africa all I got was a wallet”.

The Material Girl replied, “You might go home with a black eye

It was reported that after that the Madonna’s previously jovial mood soured and she left the after-party before it had even began.

Nicole To Live The Criminal Life?

December 14th, 2006 · No Comments

Looks like Nicole Ritchie might be praying for Christmas miracle after new documents reveal that she pled no contest four years ago to a DUI. This means if found guilty for her most recent incident where she drove the wrong way down a freeway while on Vicodin and marijuana the judge must impose a jail sentence. The law states that anyone twice-convicted of a DUI must spend 5 consecutive days in county jail as well as a one year license suspension. Ritchie would also be ordered to attend an alcohol education programme for a year and a half.

Nicole’s attempts to avoid paparazzi attention at the moment may seem a little over-zealous to say the least:
