BONO has waded into the controversy over MADONNA’s adoption of Malawian baby David Banda — by saying he wants to give the boy’s father Yohane a job.  

Madonna faces a court battle to keep the 14-month-old, who she brought to the UK on a temporary adoption order.

The U2 frontman thinks Yohane would fit in well at wife Ali Hewson’s ethical clothing label, Edun, where she is the creative head.

He said: “We’re trying to get jobs to Africa then people will be able to keep their children.”
