Pete Doherty has been voted the most “undeserving icon”  of the year in Arena mens magazine.

Over 1,000 readers of the popular lads mag voted the singer, 27, as the personality least worthy of celeb status, most probably due to his highly publicised drug problem.

Meanwhile Doherty has been banned from seeing his child by his former partner Lisa Moorish. Moorish who also has a child with Liam Gallagher previously banned Doherty from access because he was “deep” in drugs.

This ban had been lifted earlier this year after Doherty signed himself into the Priory drug clinic but Doherty is believed to have had some class A “gear” on him when searched by police last week.

It is believed that Doherty has signed himself into another drug clinic but this time he has opted for Portugal in an attempt to stay of out the British media limelight.
