Human Rights Campaign’s “Project Snapshot” Encourages Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Straight Allies to “Talk About It”

WASHINGTON – As the country honors National Coming Out Day today, a day set aside every year to celebrate gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and straight supportive Americans living openly and honestly about their lives, the Human Rights Campaign is proud to announce the involvement of celebrities ranging from international recording artists to sports legends stepping out to promote equality.

Pink, Lance Bass and Reichen Lehmkuhl, Billie Jean King, Laura Linney, George Takei, Perez Hilton (with Jessica Simpson), Ron Reagan Jr. have all been featured as an ally in the Human Rights Campaign’s “Project Snapshot”, an online public art project encouraging all Americans who support equality to live life openly and be engaged in this lifelong process. Americans, both gay and straight, from all walks of life will participate in “Project Snapshot” by posing with a sign of the Human Rights Campaign’s 2006 National Coming Out Day theme “Talk About It”.
