Sorry everyone, i’ve not had the time to update VIP Glamour lately, and although there are a few of us working on this we know we have been slow to up date, rest easy though, we plan to be back to full strength soon. And with an new team member.
In the mean time, I would love a few people to reply to this comment, left on VIP Glamour (which our moderators deleted) in relation to an article we published entitled Nelly Furtado is gay.
A reader Jeraime was obviously looking for a reaction when he posted this, and I would love to see your replies. And although I love the idea of publishing his e-mail address I wont, it seems he is from Houston.

It’s 2006, and it’s disguisting and sad that we still have people like this in the world.
Obviously he’s from some southern state. I’m not saying that everyone from the South is homophobic, ignorant or uneducated, but Bush does come from the “great” state of Texas.

AIDS is not a gay disease and it never was. Straight people were dying of AIDS long before people heard about the disase starting in the 80’s but it was being labeled as “cancer” or “pneumonia”. I don’t know why people think being gay is a choice. Straight people are born straight but gays and leesbians aren’t ?? Why is one a choice but the other isn’t? Maybe this person is young or just was brought up this way. No one can change the way this person thinks. They have to change themselves and not be so ignorant.

Being a “straight” person from the “south” I am offended by the first moron totally and the response by Katie who doesn’t seem to think the south has any intelligent people. Now for the first guy, I don’t know about his God but my God doesn’t differentiate based on sexual preference. Further, AIDS is not a gay disease as Capri pointed out. It’s a sick world and it’s people who think like this character that makes it a sick world. Education wouldn’t help this fool but maybe a good shrink would.

I believe homosexuality is a sin. With that being said, the person who made the original comment is completely retarded. Surely he doesn’t think anyone is going to take him seriously with his vulgar mouth and terrible, unfactual comments. Not only that, but his comments are harmful to the cause in general. People will not only NOT take him seriously, but they will also use this as a label for all anti-homosexuals.
People should know that not everyone from the south is ignorant and backwoods, but they should also know that not every anti-homosexual is a vulgar, deranged, unintelligent caveman.
