The worlds favorite socialite Paris Hilton has admitted to hitting a car, that is a parked car. This all happened in LA on Thursday while she tried to escape the paparazzi. Previous reports that she speed off without leaving a note, which apparently is the law in LA, have been quashed by her publicist who said: “Did she commit a crime? No. She was swarmed by paparazzi .The intensity of the lights, flashbulbs, momentarily disoriented her. ”

The reality show and ‘famous for being famous’ star, was video recorded leaving the scene of the crime by a cameraman, presumably a member of the paparazzi. This crime we are told is an offense which could see the star with a six month jail sentence, although I doubt Paris is worried, throwing money at a problem usually makes it go away.

“Paris is a very responsible and a very good driver, she takes her driving seriously. This was unfortunate and it will be handled appropriately.”

I’m sure she is without a doubt a good driver, although she has reportedly a number of citations for traffic violations in the past.
